Most Pinterest users will agree that it is quite disappointing when one clicks on a pin and one is redirected to a website where the photo clicked does not exist. Yes I can go searching for where the photo actually resides online, but that is not why I am on Pinterest. Pinterest is an amazing traffic driving tool, why not use it correctly to lead people to your website?
When you share pins that lead to websites that have nothing to do with where the picture resides, you are disappointing us dedicated Pinterest users.
I use Pinterest for both business and pleasure. To tell you the truth, Pinterest is where I go for zen. I love pinning things I like without obligation to respond to anyone. You like my pin? Great. You either like it or repin it. Yes you can leave comments but from my user experience most people that interact with me just like and repin. I prefer it that way. Feel free to go commenting on Pinterest, commenting on things on the web usually helps people discover you.
Pinterest provides me with mental stimulation and allows me to discover new things. I find that Pinterest is a pretty good search (discovery) engine since most people are pinning things they actually like and recommend. I have a friend whose food recipe pins are always on my feed. When I think food and pins her face always comes to mind. She probably has no idea. Her name is Jewel Figueras, check her out for your Pinterest food pin needs, LOL. Feel free to connect with me as well, I am Karla Campos.
I always love conversation and feedback (except when I am pinning : P). Let me know in the comments about your Pinterest experience and what works for you.
